- A flight lookup is when you search for a specific flight using our search tool. Browsing existing seatmaps from our database is always free and unlimited.
- What's the difference between static and live seat data?
- Static data shows the general aircraft layout and seat configuration. Live data shows real-time seat availability directly from the airline's reservation system - see exactly which seats are open, blocked, or taken.
- Can I try live seat data before subscribing?
- Yes! Free users get 1 live availability check to experience the feature. After that, upgrade to Explorer for 10 checks per month or Professional for unlimited access.
- Can I change plans?
- Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
- How do seat alerts work?
- Create an alert for your preferred seat type (window, aisle, exit row, specific seat, etc.) on any flight up to 60 days before departure. Our system automatically checks seat availability and emails you the moment your preferred seat opens up. You can manage all your alerts from your dashboard.
- How often are alerts checked?
- Check frequency is smart and adaptive based on your departure date. Flights within 24 hours are checked every 2 hours, flights 2-7 days out are checked every 6 hours, flights 8-30 days out are checked every 12 hours, and flights 31-60 days out are checked twice per week. Professional users get priority checking for faster notifications.
