Ryanair does not currently offer in-flight Wi-Fi as of 2026. The entire ~611-aircraft Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8-200 fleet flies without internet, charging ports or seatback IFE. CEO Michael O'Leary publicly rejected Starlink in January 2026, citing an estimated ~2% fuel-burn drag penalty (a figure SpaceX disputes) and weak willingness-to-pay among low-cost short-haul passengers. Ryanair has indicated it expects to add free Wi-Fi within 3-5 years once antenna technology improves; as of May 2026 no rollout date has been announced.
