Claude and ChatGPT have no one-click install for remote servers yet. Open connectors, choose “Add custom connector”, and paste https://mcp.flightseatmap.com/mcp.

Setup

1 Ensure Node.js is installed (needed to run the MCP bridge)
2 Open Settings → Developer → Edit Config
3 Add to your claude_desktop_config.json:

4 Restart Claude Desktop. FlightSeatMap tools will appear in the tools menu.

1 Open Cursor Settings → MCP
2 Click + Add new global MCP server and paste:

Authentication

The config above is all you need — the free tools work with no sign-in. Tools that need your account (like search_flight) sign you in automatically over OAuth.

1 Add the server with the config above — no API key or header required.
2 The first time you call an account tool, your MCP client opens a browser window to sign in to FlightSeatMap. Approve access — there's nothing to copy or paste.
3 Your client remembers the sign-in for next time. You'll need a FlightSeatMap account; each search_flight uses one search credit from your plan.

search_flight Sign in

Fetch fresh seatmap data for any flight. Sign in when prompted — requires a FlightSeatMap account and uses one search credit.
