Air Canada launched free Bell-sponsored streaming Wi-Fi for Aeroplan members on May 1, 2025, across North America, Mexico and the Caribbean — replacing the prior Gogo service. Long-haul international rollout is planned for 2026; as of May 2026 it has not yet launched on transatlantic or other long-haul routes, with no specific date published. In April 2026, Aeroplan and United MileagePlus launched a reciprocal free Wi-Fi program: United MileagePlus members with their number on the Air Canada booking receive complimentary Bell-sponsored streaming Wi-Fi on the same North America/Mexico/Caribbean routes, and Aeroplan members receive free Starlink Wi-Fi on United's Starlink-equipped aircraft. The earlier Bell-sponsored free messaging benefit (live since May 2023) remains in place worldwide on equipped aircraft. Aeroplan enrollment is free. Non-members can still buy passes (CA$6.50/hour up to CA$65.95/month). Aeroplan must consent to data collection for targeted advertising to receive free service. No Starlink partnership has been announced as of May 2026.
