The one that stands out most is Chase Ultimate Rewards to IHG at a 70% bonus - that's a strikingly high rate for a hotel transfer partner.

Staples is offering fee-free $200 Visa gift cards in-store through this Saturday, August 29. The limit is nine per customer per day, and this is one of those manufactured spending opportunities that Chase Ink cardholders have been using for years to rack up 5x Ultimate Rewards points at office supply stores.

The math is straightforward: buy a $200 Visa gift card with your Chase Ink Cash or Ink Plus, earn 5x points on the $200 purchase, pay no gift card fee, then use the card like cash. You're effectively buying Ultimate Rewards at 0 cents out of pocket. The catch is the in-store requirement - this doesn't work online - and some locations have different policies on variable-load cards, so fixed $200 denomination is the safest play.
