Atmos Rewards Summit Card: 100K Points + Companion Award

The Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Card from Bank of America has its best-ever publicly available welcome bonus: 100,000 Atmos Rewards points plus a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after you spend $6,000 in the first 90 days (One Mile at a Time). Here is what it is worth and who should apply.

The Summit Card carries a $395 annual fee and is issued by Bank of America. The elevated offer first returned just a couple of weeks ago, and word is that it is a very short-term, limited-time promotion. There is no confirmed end date, so treat it as something that could disappear without much warning.

• Bonus: 100,000 Atmos Rewards points plus a 25,000-point Global Companion Award

• Spend requirement: $6,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of opening the account

• Annual fee: $395

• Eligibility: you can apply even if you already hold another Atmos Rewards card, personal or business

• Timing: the offer is ending soon, with no exact date announced

Beyond the bonus, the card earns 3x points on dining and 3x on all foreign purchases. It also gives you an anniversary boost of 10,000 status points, plus one status point for every $2 spent, which makes it a fast path to Atmos Rewards elite status.

At about 1.5 cents per point, the 100,000 points alone are worth around $1,500. Add the 25,000-point Global Companion Award, which saves you up to 25,000 points on a companion ticket, and the full bonus comes to roughly $1,875 in travel value.

This card makes the most sense for travelers who want a strong airline card they can keep for the long term. Points can be redeemed across Alaska and its partners, including premium cabins on airlines like Qatar Airways and Condor, and even domestic flights on American. The ongoing benefits are worth looking at too:

• An anniversary 25,000-point Global Companion Award just for having the card, every year

• Up to eight Alaska Lounge passes and eight inflight Wi-Fi passes per year (two of each per quarter)

• A free first checked bag and 20% savings on inflight purchases on Alaska and Hawaiian flights

• Preferred boarding, plus waived $20 partner award booking fees and waived same-day change fees on Alaska flights

• Upgrade priority on Alaska and Hawaiian flights, useful if you have elite status

• Primary rental car coverage and travel protections for delayed flights and lost bags

• The offer is ending soon with no firm date, so waiting could mean missing it entirely

• You must spend $6,000 within 90 days, which may not be realistic if you can't route normal spending through the card

• The $395 annual fee is real, and the card is best for people who will use the companion award and other perks

• You are only eligible for the welcome bonus if you don't currently have or haven't previously had this exact card

• Bank of America looks at your whole profile, including credit history, existing relationship, recent applications, and income

The current offer is 100,000 Atmos Rewards bonus points plus a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after you spend $6,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.

Yes. Holding the Atmos Rewards Ascent card or the Atmos Rewards Business card does not stop you from being eligible for the Summit Card and its welcome bonus, as long as you have never had the Summit Card itself.

There is no published minimum. It is generally considered a card for applicants with good to excellent credit, and ideally a score of at least 700, and better yet above 740, though Bank of America weighs many other factors too.

For many travelers it can be, thanks to the annual 25,000-point Global Companion Award, 3x earning on dining and foreign purchases, lounge and Wi-Fi passes, and the status point boost. The companion award alone can offset much of the fee if you use it strategically.

With about $1,875 in estimated value from the bonus, an annual companion award, and a fast path to Atmos elite status, the Summit Card is one of the strongest airline card offers right now. The offer has no confirmed end date, so if it fits your travel, do not wait too long.
