IMPORTANT: Spirit Airlines ceased operations at 3:00 AM ET on May 2, 2026 after a planned $500 million government bailout fell through. All flights have been cancelled and the carrier is in an orderly wind-down. Prior to the shutdown, Spirit had Thales FlytLIVE Wi-Fi on its A320 and A321 fleet (~80%+ of total aircraft, A319s never equipped). Free Spirit Gold members and Spirit First passengers received free gate-to-gate Wi-Fi; other guests paid $2.99+ for browsing or $5.99+ for streaming. Wi-Fi service is no longer active.
