The airline shows you a grid of seats. We show you which ones are open, which ones are good, and when a better one comes free.

Vi Overvåger for Dig
Vores smarte system tjekker automatisk sædetilgængelighed baseret på din afgangsdato. Flyvninger inden for 24 timer tjekkes hver 2. time, mens fremtidige flyvninger tjekkes to gange om ugen - optimeret for maksimal effektivitet.

A Trip Pass watches one flight until departure for $4.99, once. Fly often? Frequent Flyer keeps five alerts running at a time.
Everything SeatGuru showed, plus what is open today
SeatGuru showed you a layout. We show you the layout, the seats that are free on your flight today, and what other passengers said about them.
105 airlines, 856 cabin layouts
From Delta and United to Emirates and Singapore Airlines, with the exact configuration each aircraft flies.
Live, not last year
Seat availability comes from airline systems for your flight and date, so you see what is open now, not what was open when someone last updated a wiki.
Reviews for the seat, not the airline
Read what passengers said about that exact seat: legroom, a missing window, noise from the galley.
Search free. Pay for the flight you care about.
You likely need live seats for one trip, not a subscription. Pay once for that flight, or cover every trip if you fly often.

Questions before you search
A flight seat map (also called airplane seat map or aircraft seating chart) shows the layout of seats in an aircraft. You can find flight seatmaps on FlightSeatmap.com by entering your flight number and date. Our seat map finder provides both free historical data and real-time seat availability for a small fee.
To find the best airplane seats, use our seat selection guide which shows seat comfort ratings, proximity to exits and lavatories, legroom data, and passenger reviews. Our seat map tool highlights the best seats in green and warns about potentially uncomfortable seats. For specific aircraft like Boeing 777 seat maps or Airbus A320 seat maps, we provide detailed cabin layout diagrams.
SeatGuru showed a fixed layout for each aircraft, and it closed in October 2025. FlightSeatmap.com shows the same kind of layout plus the seats that are open on your flight today, passenger reviews for each seat, and alerts when a better seat opens. Layouts and reviews are free.
To avoid worst airplane seats, check our seat comfort ratings and passenger reviews before selecting. Seats to avoid typically include: last row seats (limited recline), seats near lavatories (noise/traffic), and middle seats. Our airplane seat layout tool clearly marks problematic seats. For exit row seat maps and bulkhead seat reviews, we provide specific pros and cons.
Search your flight number and open the live seat map. It shows which seats are taken and which are open in each cabin, so you can see how full the flight is. Cached seat maps are free. A free account gets one seat alert. Live seat availability checks and more alerts need a Trip Pass ($4.99 once, covers one flight until it departs) or a Frequent Flyer plan.
Yes! Our seat alert notifications system monitors your flight and sends seat upgrade alerts when better seats become available. You can set alerts for specific seat types like window seats (using our window seat finder), exit rows, or premium cabins. The seat availability tracker works for all major airlines and aircraft types.
We provide aircraft seating charts for all major plane types including Boeing 737-800 seating chart, Boeing 777 seat map, Airbus A320 seat map, Airbus A380 seat map, and Embraer E195 seat layout. Our aircraft configuration guide covers 105 airlines with detailed cabin layout diagrams for each plane type.
Yes. Aircraft layouts, seat maps and seat reviews are free, and no card is needed. You pay only for live availability and alerts: a Trip Pass ($4.99 once) for one flight, or Frequent Flyer ($8.99/month) if you fly often.
We offer simple, transparent pricing with 3 plans: Free (browse cached seat maps and static layouts, one seat alert), Trip Pass ($4.99 once, covers a single flight until it departs), and Frequent Flyer ($8.99/month or $79/year for five alerts and ten live checks a month). Cancel anytime.
Unlike ExpertFlyer which requires an expensive subscription, FlightSeatmap.com offers free seat map search for historical data. While ExpertFlyer focuses on award seats and upgrades for frequent flyers, we specialize in helping all travelers find the best airplane seats with our comprehensive seat comfort ratings and cabin layout diagrams.
