Where it stands

On January 13, 2026, Lufthansa Group announced a deal to equip its entire ~850-aircraft fleet (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, etc.) with Starlink, with first flights in H2 2026 and full rollout by 2029. Starlink will be free across all cabins for status customers and Travel ID users. During the transition, the existing FlyNet (Viasat Ka-band) service continues with the pricing tiers above. Note: Senator member free Wi-Fi status is unclear from current sources — only HON Circle is explicitly confirmed for free FlyNet Premium.
