Where it stands

Singapore Airlines completed Wi-Fi installation across its full mainline fleet (A350, A380, 737-8, 777-300ER, 787-10) following the retirement of ex-SilkAir aircraft by October 2025. On May 4, 2026 SIA officially confirmed Starlink as its next-gen Wi-Fi provider. Progressive rollout begins Q1 2027 across the A350-900 long-haul/ULR fleet and A380s, completing by end 2029. Up to 1 Gbps per Aero Terminal — replacing today's 5-9 Mbps Panasonic Ku / SITAOnAir Ka system. Free for all premium cabins and KrisFlyer/PPS members in PE/Y on Starlink-equipped aircraft. Streaming, voice/video calls, and VPN are blocked on the legacy system.
